Getting market match dollarsis easy.

Simply visit the market info booth, where staff will swipe your EBT card for the amount you choose.

Then the market manager provides $1 wooden tokens that can be used like cash at the farmers’ stalls to purchase many foods, plus seeds/plants that produce food in a garden.

With Market Match, you will also receive a bonus of free Market Match dollar tokens on top of that, to stretch your CalFresh dollars further.

This bonus matching benefit is available once per market day, all season long as funds permit.

California P-EBT 4.0 Eligibility

P-EBT 4.0 marks the final version of the program after the expiration of the federal Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023.

The distribution of P-EBT cards is expected to take place from August through October 2023.

For students attending schools that do not participate in NSLP or SBP, including private and nonpublic participating schools, private virtual schools, virtual schools outside of NSLP or SBP, and homeschool children, an application is required to determine eligibility.

The application period is open from July 21, 2023, to August 15, 2023. Late applications will not be accepted.

To apply for P-EBT, families need to gather specific eligibility information and documentation and complete an application on the website www.getpebt.org.

Eligibility Documentation Requirements for Non-NSLP/SBP School Attendees

Documentation required for students aged 6 to 22, homeschooled or enrolled in a private virtual school during SY 2022-23:

1. 1. Homeschool students: Valid private homeschool affidavit number.
   2. Private virtual school students: Proof of enrollment in a California Department of Education (CDE) registered private school with a County District School code (CDS code).
   3. Students must have left enrollment from an NSLP/SBP participating school after January 27, 2020, due to COVID-19 concerns. Parents and guardians must attest to this during the application process.
